As part of Diplomacy Week 2025, the Conferences Department of the Swiss Diplomacy Student Association invites you to a roundtable discussion that questions the often implicit opposition between the “West” and the “Rest of the world.”Too often seen as a homogeneous bloc, the "Rest" actually encompasses deeply diverse political, cultural, and economic realities.
An academic expert will engage in discussion with three African diplomats to explore the internal dynamics of the “Rest” and examine the new alliances and geopolitical shifts reshaping the global order, with a special focus on the African continent.
